In Oranjestad, Le Petit Café has recently changed locations after seventeen years of building up an excellent reputation on the corner at the beginning of the main street. Its new spot upstairs at Royal Plaza Mall sports a huge, wraparound terrace with a bar for outdoor seating with a magnificent view. The entire harbor in Oranjestad along with the cruise ships in port can be seen from this balcony. It's a favorite place for diners to sit, although for some, the elegant dining room with their award-winning cherry-wood chairs is preferable. It has a separate room for private parties of 30 people or less, and they specialize in parties even larger than that in the main dining room. Serving a variety of delicious plated dishes at both lunch and dinner as well as meals cooked on the stone, this is the perfect spot to stop for lunch or beverages while shopping in town, and the first choice for cocktails and dinner once the shops are closed. It's relaxing, the view is tremendous, and afterwards, guests can take advantage of all the things to do in town after their meal, for Le Petit Café is right in the heart of Aruba's nightlife in town.
